As a couple of Nova Scotians who know and love seafood, we highly recommend this spot. Every dish we had was fresh and delicious. Best lobster we've ever had!! Literally helped pull it out of the ocean. Doesn't get fresher than that! We have also really enjoyed the fish cakes, seafood trio, and chowder. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. Impeccable service. Fair price and an absolutely gorgeous patio view. Can't wait to come back

If you are in the area or finishing a hike at bottle cove, Myrtles is a must! We had the myrtles mess, fish and chips and mussels. Everything was delicious, and serving sizes were big for the price. The fish had the best batter, it was thin and crispy, and the cod was super fresh. The server was very attentive and friendly and it was so nice to hear about the history of the family restaurant.

delicious food for great prices!!they keep their lobsters in a cage in the water right outside the restaurant. they pulled it up and picked one for us. it was wild getting to hold a live lobster...and then eat it lolother than the lobster, we also really liked the macaroni salad and donair egg rolls.highly recommend!!

One of the best chowder I ever ate and the fish and chip was good too with their own touch. A really good place to eat in Newfoundland

The seafood chowder and cod au gratin were both fantastic! Delicious flavors, good serving size, and everything tasted fresh. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Fun establishment inside with an outdoor deck on the water as well. Gaming machines and pool table too! Intended on coming the night before (weekend), but surprised that it was super busy so had to come back the next day. Glad we did!

Driving west down 450 from Corner Brook, you will find Myrtles on the Bay where the mussels, halibut, cod, and more are all fresh. The owner Victoria and her wonderful staff allowed me to try a mussel to start. It was perfectly cooked, salty, and so delicious I had to try one more. Choosing the halibut for a main course my taste buds were not disappointed with the freshness of the fish and crispiness of the beer batter. Only wish is there was home made tartar. With the views, warm hosting, and classic east coast vibes, its worth the drive.

Great spot for lunch or dinner in Lark Harbour. We stopped in and enjoyed the patio and watching the gulls. My husband had the fish cakes and I had Myrtle’s Mesh and both were delicious. We were there late in the day but people kept streaming in for take out.

Best lobster and chowder in my life served up by the wonderful owners at Myrtles. When they say local seafood, they literally mean picking a lobster from their lobster trap on the restaurant's dock. Hauled up their trap, helped us pick a lobster and cooked it fresh for all. Great prices and value! We really enjoyed the iceberg beer and sitting on the outdoor patio on the bay. Amazing experience!!!
